I’ll be the first in my household to make an university level, which’s something I hold extremely near to my heart.
My family members and I transferred to the United States in 2014 We picked Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and construct a far better future.
When I finished high school in 2020, I chose to join the Military Reserve so I might work full-time to assist support my household financially. In the process, my parents constantly reminded me of the importance of an university degree. Honestly, I dealt with the decision between picking work over college.
That changed when I discovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I might gain my level 100 % online from an approved, nationally acknowledged Carnegie R 1 university. The versatility of the program made it feasible to stabilize work, life, and education and learning. Once I signed up, I understood I made the appropriate option.
As an online pupil, I remained included with campus life through career fairs and signing up with pupil companies like the Society of Human Resource Administration. I wished to get the most out of my college experience and get in touch with individuals that shared my interest for human resources.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of loss term. Many thanks to the assistance and structure of UofM Global, I had the ability to finish strong, even making the Dean’s List. I’m taking 4 courses while offering on active duty, and I’m pleased to state I’ll be finishing in May.
Being able to serve my nation, sustain my family, and earn my level means the globe to me. I feel all set to tackle whatever comes next.
